A 'Statement of Clinical Need’ or SOCN essentially is the expression of a problem. Statements should relate to the application of Health Technologies in the clinic or community, and might cover subjects such as weaknesses in current treatments, difficulties in the use of devices or clinical instrumentation, or gaps in the range of available treatments.
Healthcare professionals, researchers, patients or members of the public who have an interest in innovating healthcare.
Your statement of clinical need will be moderated by the SOCN team. It may then be discussed and assessed by panels of healthcare professionals in order to ascertain it's priority.
